Its Been a while

Hey there, everybody.

So Joel and I hosted Thanksgiving this year, we had his mother, father, and grandparents, and we had my mother step father, sister her husband, and there two children. Joel put sooo much work into the preparations, and cleaning. My contributions where decorating, cleaning, and setting the table. We used Joels mothers 30 year old wedding plate set. all in all it came out nicely, our families intermingling, and hanging out with one another. i believe its the most people we ever had in the house at one time, and our largest dinner party to date.

I dutifully went back to work that friday, excited in the knowledge that i had the entire next week off, my first full week of vacation in over 2 years, and a long time coming as USIG canceled my previously booked week off due to my coworker being out on leave.

So i relished in the time off, lazy days, cooking dinners, all this free time was so relaxing. i almost didn't even mind going back to work the following Monday. I made my breakfast, I got my lunch together, and I headed into the office. I settled in, and got right back to work. Then Mike called me into his office, and he advised me that "they" where making him lay me off. I was very excited, because i could not stand the way that company sucks the life out of you.

And here we are i am into my third week of unemployment and fourth week off in total. I am job seeking, and there is one lead i am really looking forward to.

I am writing this out of sheer boredom and maybe ill start writing more frequently, as another outlet.

Flood / What do do ?

Hey guys, whats up its been a while since i have posted on here, as i sit here with joel in our bed on the eve of his birthday, i thought what better time then to put up a post. there are some crazy things going on in this great state of ours. the waters are starting to receide and the roadways are starting to open back up. but there are still detours reroutes and its makeing my work very difficult. so what to do tomorrow ? its joels birthday as i said earlyer, and hes working till 8 pm, so i have all day to my self, i would like to take a drive some where, but i dont want to get stuck in a flooded roadway with my new car. during the rain, i had to drive thew about 500 Yards of a puddle,  and i was shitting my self that my car was going to stall out and have to be abandoned in the middle of the street. grhhh. so any suggestions to what i should do? i dont want to have too much fun out of solidarity to for joel because he has to work. i want to do something but what?

Dancing with The Stars (W/Kelly Osborn)

OMG now i have been watching dancing with the stars for at least 5 years / seasons, and quite frankly the past few have really sucked!!! the quality of the songs chosen/dances/dance ability of the stars has been lack luster at best. well let me tell you something, i have been watching this new season on Hulu, and Holy crap this is going to be an amazing season!!! I am absolutely blown away by Kelly  Osborn. Every one can put Mya as an early favorite, but shes also the obvious choice being a singer/dancer. Kelly was totally unexpected, and totally amazing!! i have not been so smitten with a female contestant, since Mel B a few seasons ago. I really didnt care much for Luie Van Amstel, but hell if he is going to keep turning out great choreography for Kelly, im down!

Also on a side note, did Sharon get huge ? and or have some horrible plastic surgery ?

i thought it was the grandmother in the audience or something?

i will save my entire likes and dislikes on this season, after i catch up on the elimination round tomorrow night, i know im a day behind, but i really can not stand watching something with 3 minute long commercials ;)
